Nieuwe oplichtingsmethode: Affidavit
Onze gebruikers hebben ons geïnformeerd over een nieuwe oplichtings praktijk:
Het gast gezin vraagt de au pair om contact op te nemen met een advocaat om een zogenaamd affidavit of moral and good behavior, d.w.z. een beëdigde verklaring aan te vragen. Om dit document te verkrijgen zal de au pair 380 Engelse pond moeten betalen. Als tegenprestatie belooft het gast gezin de reiskosten voor de au pair te dragen.

A genuine family will never ask you to send money to ANYONE (this includes the family itself, any agents, travel agents, lawyers, the Home Office of British High Commission or anyone else) !
Therefore please remember: Do never send money!
